SLT_421 Calibration Verification

Second of 3 adaptations (uses) for this template allows for verifying calibration accuracy at low, mid, and high end of the reportable range.

Calibration Verification is an every 6-month CLIA requirement.

• Use for results comparisons between labs, within lab, and vs. known calibrators, or other such materials used for verifying calibration




• Set allowable error limits using:
  
1. percent difference,
2. absolute difference, or
   
3. Standard Deviation PT Error Limit

Results are compared vs. the defined error limits, and interpretation of "acceptable" or "unacceptable" given.
